This two part workshop will introduce you to the intricacies of weaving.

The first session (10:00) is aimed at individuals and craft groups with some weaving experience. With an understanding of the processes already in place, you’ll create your own decorative piece before this is incorporated into a larger banner with potential to hang in our corridor gallery.

The second session (13:00) is aimed at individuals with no experience of weaving or textile crafting. To start, you’ll be shown the basics of weaving in a demonstration, before creating your own piece on an individual handloom. Your segment may then be incorporated into a larger banner with potential to hang in our corridor gallery.
